On Wednesday, the House Oversight Committee passed legislation that would extend the city’s lease long-term and allow the District to redevelop the RFK Stadium site–and potentially lure the Commanders back to the District. The next step is a vote in the full House of Representatives.

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, in recognition of Earth Day, the DC Department of General Services (DGS) announced the District government’s first-ever Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC). DGS in partnership with its ESPC advisor NV5 awarded this contract to CMTA, an Energy Services Company (ESCO).
