Mayor Bowser Celebrates Opening of New Advanced Technical Center

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, at a pep rally for students and families, Mayor Muriel Bowser officially opened the new, permanent home of the Advanced Technical Center (ATC). The ATC allows students to earn college credits and industry certifications while remaining enrolled in their DC public school or public charter school. The dual-enrollment Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs prepare students for careers in high-skill, high-wage, in-demand disciplines.

The Department of General Services Announces DC’s First Energy Savings Performance Contract in Honor of Earth Day

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, in recognition of Earth Day, the DC Department of General Services (DGS) announced the District government’s first-ever Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC). DGS in partnership with its ESPC advisor NV5 awarded this contract to CMTA, an Energy Services Company (ESCO).
