The District of Columbia's General Services division (DGS) is seeking a GENERAL CONTRACTOR to provide all necessary construction services, supervision, permits, labor, supplies, equipment, and materials to upgrade the exterior and vestibule entry, and install a new accessible entrance with ramp, steps and landing in order to fully comply with ADA building code requirements at the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) 6th District Substation. This 2,977 SF facility is located at 2701 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE SE WASHINGTON D.C. 20020.

Event Description: With the passage of the Public Facilities Environmental Safety Amendment Act of 2020, DGS has expanded its frequency and scope of testing for environmental risks. This is the fourteenth meeting in a series of monthly meetings to discuss actionable environmental safety testing results and remediation activity at District public buildings. This meeting will provide an overview of our testing process and details about activities at specific locations. You can join the meeting by registering and using the link provided.
