Event Description: With the passage of the Public Facilities Environmental Safety Amendment Act of 2020, DGS has expanded its frequency and scope of testing for environmental risks. This is the fourteenth meeting in a series of monthly meetings to discuss actionable environmental safety testing results and remediation activity at District public buildings. Topic: Scope – Addition onto the current Barnard ES that will contain 12 classrooms, a Specials Lab and
support spaces for the school. This addition will serve as the replacement to the existing trailer complex
on site. The scope includes a new playfield, a green roof and an intense SWM package with bioretention
ponds and an overall sustainable site.
