The District of Columbia ("District") Department of General Services (the "Department" or "DGS") is issuing this Request for Proposals ("RFP") to solicit design-build proposals ("Proposal(s)") from offerors ("Offeror(s)") interested in serving as the design-builder ("Design-Builder") for the renovation and creation of an annex of Van Ness Elementary School ("Van Ness ES") located at 1150 5th Street in the Southeast quadrant of Washington DC (the "Project").

Event Description: With the passage of the Public Facilities Environmental Safety Amendment Act of 2020, DGS has expanded its frequency and scope of testing for environmental risks. This is the fourteenth meeting in a series of monthly meetings to discuss actionable environmental safety testing results and remediation activity at District public buildings. This meeting will provide an overview of our testing process and details about activities at specific locations. You can join the meeting by registering and using the link provided. support spaces for the school. This addition will serve as the replacement to the existing trailer complex
on site. The scope includes a new playfield, a green roof and an intense SWM package with bioretention
ponds and an overall sustainable site.
