The District of Columbia (the “District”), acting and through its Department of General Services (“DGS” or the “Department”) is issuing this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to engage multiple contractors to provide construction management services for the Department’s Capital Construction Division portfolio of construction projects. Projects may include schools, parks and recreation facilities, municipal buildings, fire and police stations and other public buildings.

The Department of General Services Announces DC’s First Energy Savings Performance Contract in Honor of Earth Day

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, in recognition of Earth Day, the DC Department of General Services (DGS) announced the District government’s first-ever Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC). DGS in partnership with its ESPC advisor NV5 awarded this contract to CMTA, an Energy Services Company (ESCO).
