Topic:Monday, May 16 at 11:00 am you are invited to join Mayor Muriel Bowser, Chief Technology Officer Lindsey Parker, and broadband provider WeLink for an exciting announcement of a new initiative aimed to bring high-speed, low or no-cost internet to neighborhoods in need in Washington, DC and the establishment of the State Broadband and Digital Equity Office within the DC Office of the Chief Technology Officer. At this event Mayor Bowser, with DC Housing Authority Director Brenda Donald, will also celebrate the completed installation of free in-home internet delivered by the DC-NET fiber optic network and powered by local wireless access provider, ETTE at Potomac Gardens Apartments and Hopkins Apartments.
