Mayor Bowser to Kick Off Transformation of Spingarn High School Into New DC Infrastructure Academy Facility
(WASHINGTON, DC) - On Wednesday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m., Mayor Muriel Bowser will be joined by District officials and community partners to kick off the transformation of the historic Spingarn High School as the building is reconfigured to house the new DC Infrastructure Academy (DCIA) training center.
Launched in 2018 to provide job training in high-demand infrastructure fields to District residents, DCIA has trained over 2,700 residents so far and partnered with employers throughout DC to connect graduates with career opportunities.
