(WASHINGTON, DC) – Tomorrow at 1:00 p.m., the Department of General Services (DGS) and the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) will hold a media availability to provide updates on preparation work for outdoor pools and other recreational amenities across all eight wards. Each year, District pools, parks and other recreational spaces receive maintenance, referred to as “spring-summer readiness,” to include pool power washing and painting, inspections, and grounds maintenance.
