MEDIA ADVISORY: Mayor Bowser to Break Ground on Department of General Services Headquarters and Northeast Heights Redevelopment

(WASHINGTON, DC) – Tomorrow at 11:00 a.m., Mayor Bowser will hold a media availability for a groundbreaking to begin construction of phase one of the Northeast Heights community redevelopment in Ward 7. The overall redevelopment project will include the construction of mixed-use space to include retail and residential space. Phase one of the project will involve construction of a new headquarters for the Department of General Services (DGS) which is responsible for building, maintaining, and sustaining the District’s real estate portfolio.
